Brisbane Camera Group is steered by a collection of volunteers forming a committee. Non-Committee positions are supporting roles to assist the committee execute their tasks.
Non-committee positions do not have to be members of the club, but it does help

AV Director
Brief
Convening AV subgroup meetings and information sharing as required
- Draft an agenda and send to interested members prior to the meeting
- Members, guests and experts should be sought to provide presentations or input to the meeting
- News and information pertaining to AV topics should be circulated and discussed
- A library of AV resources should be maintained (preferably on the website)
Catering Coordinator
Brief
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for arranging supper at BCG meetings.
Librarian
Brief
BCG holds a small reference library of photographic books which may be loaned to members. The Librarian is the custodian of these books.
Treasurer’s Assistant
Brief
It is the treasurer's role to oversee the club's finances, to prepare the books of account and to report on income and expenditure at committee meetings. The treasurer’s assistant provides help to the treasurer and takes on the treasurer’s role when the treasurer is unavailable.
Print & Slide Director's Assistant
Brief
The Print Director is responsible for collection of prints by BCG members for competitions. The Print and Slide Director(s) assistant provides help to the Print and Slide Director(s) and takes on the Print and Slide Director(s) role when the Print and Slide Director(s) is unavailable.
Events Coordinator
Brief
The Events Coordinator is the focal point for any events that fall outside of normal meetings.
External and Inter-Club Competitions Officer
Brief
Keep the club informed of upcoming competitions and entry dates. Provide entry forms to the club and a brief on what the competition covers.
Welcoming Coordinator's Assistant
Brief
The role of the Welcoming Officer is to ensure that visitors and new club members are made to feel welcome and given the opportunity to meet and interact with other club members and participate in club activities if they wish.
Digital Group Image Show Coordinator
Brief
The Digital Group Image Show Coordinator receives images from members and prepares the audio-visual that is displayed during the Digital Night meeting.
Digital Email Coordinator
Brief
The Digital Email Coordinator is responsible for collating, preparing and sending the email about the digital shows.
Welcoming Co-ordinator
The role of the Welcoming Officer is to ensure that visitors and new club members are made to feel welcome and given the opportunity to meet and interact with other club members and participate in club activities if they wish. The Welcoming Officer informs visitors of upcoming club activities.
Scorer
Brief
The scorer is responsible for collating the scores after each monthly competition and updating these in the Scorer’s database.
Keeper of the Keys
Brief
The Keeper of the Keys holds the keys to the Albion Peace Centre and opens the building for meetings and locks up at the end of the night.
Monochrome Group Coordinator
Brief
The Monochrome Group is for ‘wet-process’ printers of monochrome images. The Monochrome Group Coordinator is responsible for arranging the venue, programme and meetings for this sub-group on a periodic basis.
Roadie
Brief
The most sought-after and esteemed role, The Roadie assists with the set up and removal of facilities used during a meeting.
