Exhibition and sale of prints by BCG members to aid the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital

As mentioned in the 9th March Short Notes, BCG wishes to have greater engagement with community groups to assist them by using our photography skills and/or the images we capture. The first of these engagements will be an exhibition and sale of prints by BCG members at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital to help in raising funds for the RBWH Foundation.  The Foundation raises funds to help purchase equipment or support research at the Hospital. The Foundation regularly has art exhibitions there to raise funds. The exhibition will be officially opened on 3 August 2018, with the prints on display for the whole of August. For more details, consult either the email or web version of Short Notes. Full details on image requirements and various deadlines is available here.

The BCG Photographic Resources Blog

Ian Cossart, our Librarian, has started a series of themed posts on various photographic subjects. You will find the inaugural post on shooting the night sky here at News > Photographic Resources Library. Look for new posts approximately twice per month.
