First Audio-Visual Special Interest Group meeting for 2018

Murray Wayper will host the first AV SIG meeting of the year on 19th February so start thinking about what story you want to tell in your AV.

New "Camera Know-How" Special Interest Group coordinated by Peter Sneddon

Some people join a camera club to learn how to use a camera and then we start a meeting talking about images and talking a language newbies don't really understand. The basic underlying knowledge is not passed on. Peter will run a "Camera Know-How" SIG which will be a cross between an beginners photography course and deep dive into the technical wonders of our cameras. So bring your camera along and we will discuss a subject, say ISO or metering modes etc, and maybe also watch a video and then have a play with our cameras around that idea? Any takers, email me on sneddonphotography@gmail.com or turn up at the first meeting on Monday 19th February. Also, Peter is looking for a co-host to help run the group, so if you think you know pretty well how your camera works, please contact him.

The Print Project Challenge is back in 2018! As we know, it was a resounding success in 2017, culminating in an exhibition of prints at Maud Gallery which was very well received and also well attended. Make sure that you catch up with all the details of this year's Challenge either here or in News.
